Epoxy, epoxy laminates
Epoxy resins are thermosets of addition type, usually based on bisphenol A and epichlorhydrine. Typical properties include excellent electrical insulation, resistance to chemicals and corrosion, reasonably high temperaure stability, good adhesion, and good mechanical properties. Stock shapes are based on epoxy laminates.
